Day 1 - On Arrival at either Brisbane or Sunshine Coast Airport, pick up your hire car and drive to the the Novotel Twin Waters Resort on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
For the rest of the afternoon, relax by the pool or take a short scenic drive to Noosa, famous for it's beachfront restaurants, cafes and shopping, and really start your holiday in style!
Day 2 - After breakfast today, drive to Australia Zoo for an action-packed day full of wildlife adventure! You will have the thrill of experiencing your own hands-on Animal Encounter, choosing from iguanas, possums, dingoes, wombats and more (to the value of $40.00pp)! Australia Zoo Travel can provide further information on available encounters. Spend the day exploring the new and exciting developments within Australia Zoo, from the hand-feeding the Asian Elephants for FREE, to enjoying the wonder of Bengal Tigers, saltwater crocodiles, red kangaroos and much, much more.
After your busy day at Australia Zoo, why not take the leisurely drive back to the Novotel via the scenic Mapleton Hinterland.
Day 3 – an option this morning (season permitting) is to experience a magical encounter with humpback whales aboard the luxurious vessel, "Steve's Whale One" (additional cost). Mooloolaba is the perfect viewing point to see these awesome mammals first hand as they travel north on their annual migration (seasonal from July-early November).
Enjoy 360º viewing, morning tea and lunch as you cruise in the beautiful Pacific Ocean watching as these amazing creatures play just metres from the boat!
Finish off your aquatic day with Underwater World, Queensland's largest oceanarium and aquarium. Truly an amazing experience for young and old alike as you make your way through the dome pathway aquarium, surrounded by over 5000 beautiful sea creatures - and don't forget to watch the seal and otter shows!
Day 4 - Depending on your flight departure time, take your time to check out of your accommodation and drive back to either Sunshine Coast / Brisbane Airport for your next journey.
