Itinerary:
Day 1- Hop aboard the comfortable coach for your transfer to the world-famous Australia Zoo. You will be met at the airport, your Brisbane accommodation or a stop close by at approximately 9:00am.
Spend the day with our unique Aussie animals, watch the amazing CrocsLIVE show in the Animal Planet Crocoseum, hand-feed the elephants for FREE, encounter the tigers and cheetahs at Tiger Temple and experience a whole host of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. A day you will never forget!
After a busy day at the Zoo, you will be transferred from Australia Zoo to Hervey Bay, where tonight's accommodation will be at the Outrigger Hervey Bay. This hotel is a great base for our early morning catamaran transfer over to the World Heritage Listed Fraser Island.
Day 2 - Today you will be transferred from Hervey Bay by catamaran to Fraser Island in time to join your 4WD Guided eco-tour of Fraser Island. An air-conditioned 4WD coach will take you along the famous 75 mile beach to visit such places as the coloured sands, Maheno Shipwreck and the fresh waters of Eli Creek. After a short stop to cool off, you will head to Eurong Beach Resort for a hearty buffet lunch.
After lunch you will head to central station and hear the history of the former logging camp. Stroll through the unique rainforests along the Wanggoolba Creek to Pile Valley. Following Pile Valley you will head to the famous fresh waters of Lake McKenzie. Why not take a dip in this world famous freshwater lake? Lake McKenzie is known for its amazing crystal-clear waters and white sandy beach.
Your tour will end with a transfer back to Kingfisher Bay Resort for the next 2 nights' accommodation.
Day 3 - Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and have the whole day at leisure to enjoy all of what Fraser Island and Kingfisher Bay has to offer. You may want to join another day tour to visit the northern end of Fraser Island, guided eco-walks or take part in a fishing clinic.
Day 4 - Another early morning start. After breakfast enjoy a catamaran transfer back to Hervey Bay to meet your coach transfer back to Brisbane.
