Visit the Roman Amphitheatre, Pompey's Pillar & the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Admire Qait Bay Citadel, one of the most important defensive strongholds of Egypt during the 15th century. (B,D)
Day 5: Wednesday, 22nd September
Visit El Alamein and the Commonwealth War Cemetery. Return to Cairo by luxury coach. This evening join your Egyptologist for a fascinating lecture on Egypt at a private soiree. (B,L)
Day 6: Thursday, 23rd September
Tour the Pyramids of Giza. Visit the Solar Boat museum, and the famous Sphinx. Tonight's highlight is the 'Sound and Light' show in front of the Sphinx and the Pyramids. (B,D)

This morning explore the West Bank of the Nile - visit the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut before a visit to the Valley of the Kings. Day 9: Sunday, 26th September
This morning, join your Tour Director for a walking adventure through Luxor markets. After a leisurely lunch onboard, set sail for Esna Lock (B,L,D)
Day 10: Monday, 27th September
Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus. Continue to Kom Ombo, where your boat moors overnight (B,L,D)
Day 11: Tuesday, 28th September
Visit Kom Ombo Temple. continue upstream to Aswan. After lunch take a motorboat to the Temple of Isis at Philae. This afternoon visit a Nubian village for a fascinationg insight into life on the Nile (B,L,D)
Day 12: Wednesday, 29th September
Your cruise ends this morning. visit the Aswan High Dam. Fly to Abu Simbel and visit the temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Fly back to Cairo this afternoon (B,L)
