How gorgeous! This Panda is at Ocean Park Hong Kong

Anna and I attended the Annual Travel With Kidz Conference for 2010 in Hong Kong and WOW did we have a great time.

Hong Kong is full of amazing sights, culture, great food and wine and of course there are plenty of places to shop, from high-end fashion to the Hong Kong Mongkok Markets, where there are plenty of bargains.

The first day tours included a Peak tram up to Victoria Peak to see an amazing view of the harbour, a visit to the Aberdeen fishing village on a sampan, and one of my favourite tours was the sail on the Rainbow Star Catamaran Cruise out to Lamma Island Fisher village, where i ate the best seafood dinner i have ever had! On the cruise back we were able to see the Symphony of Lights "The World's Largest Sound and Light Show".

The day following included visits to the markets and trip to Ocean Park where we had the chance to see the Giant Panda's and a fascinating display of jellyfish.

Then it was off to Hong Kong Disneyland! The Disneyland Hotel was 5 star luxury with all the fine details you would expect. The park itself was more then expected and no matter your age you would find a world of fun. It is just like walking into any other Disneyland with all the Characters and the feeling of being a kid again. Anna convinced me to have a ride on Space mountain and i am so glad i did it was a Blast...

On the last day of our trip we were able to visit Ngong Ping 360 where you take a 25min Cable ride over the mountains to see The Worlds Largest Seated Bronze Buddah and believe me it is BIG, you can also visit Po Lin Monastry to experience the natural and cultural side to Hong Kong. It is well worth the visit and is situated on Lantau Island.

Would i visit Hong Kong again?

Definitely.... there is an amazing buzz and feel to the city, it is very clean and offers great food, great markets, is very safe and the perfect place to take the whole family.
